Welcome to China Medical Navigation.
These Terms of Service apply when you access the China Medical Navigation website, submit information or medical records, request an assessment, purchase a service, contact us, or otherwise use the services we provide.
Please read these Terms carefully before using this website or requesting or purchasing any of our services.
By accessing or using this website, submitting a service request, uploading information, or purchasing a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or our services.
1. About China Medical Navigation
China Medical Navigation provides information, healthcare navigation, provider connection, care planning, medical coordination, and related support for international patients considering medical care in China.
Our services may include:
- Free Assessment;
- China Treatment Opportunity Review;
- Written Second Opinion;
- Video Second Opinion;
- Multidisciplinary Second Opinion;
- Plan Your Care in China;
- Medical Navigation in China;
- Connections with hospitals and doctors;
- Medical record organization and communication support;
- Coordination of appointments, consultations, hospital admission, and treatment;
- Other services related to accessing medical care in China.
China Medical Navigation is not itself a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare institution that directly provides medical diagnosis or treatment.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, China Medical Navigation does not independently diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, determine treatment plans, or directly provide medical treatment.
Medical diagnoses, professional medical opinions, prescriptions, treatment decisions, and medical care are provided by the relevant doctors, hospitals, or other appropriately licensed healthcare institutions.
2. Eligibility to Use Our Services
You must be legally capable of using this website and entering into transactions for the services you request.
If the patient is a minor, the relevant services should be requested and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or another adult who is legally authorized to act on the minor’s behalf.
If you contact us, submit information, purchase a service, or otherwise act on behalf of another patient, you must ensure that:
- You have the patient’s authorization; or
- You are otherwise legally authorized to act on the patient’s behalf.
Where appropriate, China Medical Navigation may request reasonable information to verify your identity or authority to act for the patient.
3. Information and Medical Records You Provide
To provide our services, we may ask you to provide personal information, contact details, medical records, test results, medical history, or other relevant information.
You are responsible for ensuring, to the best of your knowledge, that the information you provide is:
- Accurate;
- Complete;
- Current;
- Truthful;
- Information you are legally authorized to provide.
If there is a material change in your condition, treatment plan, medications, test results, or other important medical information, you should inform us or the relevant healthcare provider promptly.
Incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading information may affect:
- Assessment results;
- Medical opinions;
- Hospital or doctor matching;
- Treatment eligibility;
- Cost estimates;
- Timelines;
- Other aspects of the services provided.
China Medical Navigation is not responsible for consequences that reasonably arise from materially inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information supplied by the user.
You may not submit unlawful content, information that infringes the rights of others, or personal information, medical records, or other materials that you are not authorized to provide.
4. Description of Services
The specific scope, deliverables, pricing, and estimated timeline for each service will be determined by the relevant service page, purchase page, order confirmation, email confirmation, quotation, or other written agreement between you and China Medical Navigation.
4.1 Free Assessment
The Free Assessment is an initial evaluation intended to help us understand the patient’s situation, goals, and interest in receiving care in China, and to identify whether there may be relevant medical resources or a useful next step to explore.
The Free Assessment:
- Is not a medical diagnosis;
- Is not a formal second opinion;
- Is not a treatment plan;
- Does not guarantee that the patient should travel to China for care;
- Does not guarantee that China Medical Navigation will be able to provide or arrange any further service.
4.2 China Treatment Opportunity Review
The China Treatment Opportunity Review is designed to help patients understand treatment opportunities and medical resources in China that may be worth exploring further based on the information provided.
The review may include information about:
- Treatment directions worth further consideration;
- Treatment options that may be available in China;
- Potentially relevant hospitals or doctors;
- Access, cost, waiting time, or treatment availability;
- Possible next steps.
The specific deliverables will be described on the relevant service page or at the time of purchase.
The China Treatment Opportunity Review is not a diagnosis, prescription, or final treatment plan, and does not guarantee that a patient will meet the clinical requirements for any particular treatment.
Final treatment suitability and eligibility must be determined by the relevant doctors and medical institutions based on complete medical records, test results, and the patient’s actual medical condition.
4.3 Second Opinion Services
For a Written Second Opinion, Video Second Opinion, Multidisciplinary Second Opinion, or another service involving one or more participating doctors, the medical opinion is provided by the participating doctor(s) or medical institution.
China Medical Navigation primarily supports the service through:
- Medical record organization;
- Doctor or hospital connection;
- Scheduling and coordination;
- Communication support;
- Translation or information support where needed;
- Service process management.
The participating doctor, service format, duration, delivery method, and other arrangements will be as described on the service page at the time of purchase and confirmed in our correspondence.
A second opinion does not in every case replace an in-person consultation, physical examination, additional testing, or ongoing medical care.
4.4 Plan Your Care in China
Plan Your Care in China is designed to help patients who are considering treatment in China understand and plan a potential care pathway.
The service may include:
- Matching with hospitals and doctors;
- Preparing medical records;
- Initial communication with hospitals or doctors;
- Preliminary cost and timing information;
- Planning the care pathway and treatment process;
- Other coordination related to receiving medical care in China.
This service does not mean that any hospital has formally accepted the patient or that a treatment plan has been confirmed.
Final acceptance, eligibility, treatment plan, cost, and timing must be confirmed by the relevant hospital or doctor.
4.5 Medical Navigation in China
Medical Navigation in China provides additional coordination support for patients who are preparing to travel to China or have decided to receive medical care in China.
Depending on the agreed scope, services may include:
- Contacting hospitals and doctors;
- Coordinating appointments;
- Organizing and translating medical records;
- Arranging consultations;
- Coordinating hospital admission;
- Coordinating treatment schedules;
- Supporting medical communication;
- Providing coordination during the patient’s medical journey in China;
- Other services agreed between the parties.
Because each patient’s situation and needs are different, the scope, price, and duration of Medical Navigation services may be confirmed separately.
5. Availability of Hospitals, Doctors, and Treatments
China Medical Navigation may help patients contact hospitals, doctors, and other healthcare institutions, but the actual availability of medical services is determined by the relevant providers.
We therefore cannot guarantee that:
- A particular hospital will accept your case;
- A particular doctor will be available;
- You will meet the requirements for a particular treatment;
- A specific medication or treatment will be available;
- A hospital bed or treatment slot will be available;
- A test, surgery, or other medical service will take place according to an originally estimated schedule.
Hospital policies, doctor schedules, medication supply, bed availability, treatment requirements, and other medical resources may change.
If circumstances change, we may reasonably assist in identifying alternatives or adjusting arrangements, but decisions made by independent healthcare providers are not fully within China Medical Navigation’s control.
6. Fees and Payment
The price of a paid service will be the price displayed at the time of purchase or otherwise confirmed between you and China Medical Navigation.
Unless otherwise stated, payment must be made in accordance with the relevant payment page, order, quotation, or payment request.
Certain services may not begin until payment has been completed.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment platforms, banks, or other payment service providers.
Cross-border payments may involve:
- Bank fees;
- Card processing fees;
- Currency conversion differences;
- International transaction fees;
- Other third-party payment charges.
Unless expressly included in the quoted price, such third-party charges may be the responsibility of the user.
China Medical Navigation service fees generally do not include medical fees charged by hospitals, doctors, or other third-party providers unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Medical Costs and Other Third-Party Fees
Fees charged by China Medical Navigation are separate from fees charged by hospitals, doctors, and other third parties.
Patients receiving medical care in China may incur costs including, but not limited to:
- Hospital fees;
- Doctor consultation fees;
- Diagnostic testing;
- Medications;
- Surgery;
- Hospitalization;
- Treatment;
- Medical translation;
- Transportation;
- Accommodation;
- Visa-related costs;
- Insurance;
- Bank or payment fees;
- Other third-party expenses.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these costs are not included in China Medical Navigation service fees.
We may assist patients in obtaining cost estimates, but medical costs can change depending on the patient’s condition, treatment plan, hospital policies, medications used, length of stay, diagnostic tests, and other factors.
Any estimate should therefore be treated as an estimate rather than a guaranteed final price.
Final medical charges are determined by the hospital, doctor, or other provider and by the services actually provided.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility may vary depending on the type of service purchased and the stage at which the service has progressed.
Factors that may affect refund eligibility include:
- The type of service purchased;
- When the cancellation request is made;
- Whether the service has already started;
- Whether medical record organization or manual review has begun;
- Whether a doctor has accepted the case;
- Whether doctor fees have already been incurred;
- Whether an appointment has been scheduled;
- Whether non-refundable third-party costs have been incurred;
- Whether the service has been partially or fully delivered.
Services that have already been completed and delivered are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If a doctor has accepted the case, provided an opinion, reserved appointment time, or if third-party costs have already been incurred, those amounts may be non-refundable.
If the service has not yet begun and no non-refundable costs have been incurred, we may provide a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
Delays caused by a user’s failure to provide required records on time, inability to be reached, failure to attend a confirmed appointment, or other user-related reasons do not automatically create a right to a refund.
If a hospital, doctor, or other third party cancels a scheduled service, we may assist with rescheduling, identifying an alternative, or reasonably addressing fees for services that have not yet been provided.
If a specific service page, order, or other written confirmation contains a separate cancellation that specific policy will apply to the relevant service.
9. Estimated Timelines and Delays
Some service pages may provide estimated completion times, such as 3–5 business days or another time range.
These timelines are estimates and are not absolute guarantees.
Actual completion times may be affected by factors including:
- Complexity of the case;
- Completeness of medical records;
- Need for additional medical information or testing;
- Doctor availability;
- Hospital response times;
- Public holidays;
- Time-zone differences;
- Translation or medical record processing requirements;
- Third-party service timelines;
- Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
China Medical Navigation will make reasonable efforts to provide services within the estimated timeframe and to communicate material delays, but a reasonable delay does not automatically constitute a failure to perform the service.
10. Changes to Services or Arrangements
Medical resources and cross-border healthcare circumstances may change.
Hospitals, doctors, treatments, medications, pricing, schedules, policies, or other service conditions may change after a service has been purchased.
If a material change affects your arrangements, we may reasonably:
- Explain the change to you;
- Discuss revised arrangements;
- Identify alternative hospitals, doctors, or options;
- Modify relevant coordination plans.
For services already purchased from China Medical Navigation, we will generally continue to provide the core service as confirmed at the time of purchase unless:
- The original arrangement is no longer reasonably possible;
- You request a change;
- Relevant third-party medical resources change;
- The parties agree otherwise.
11. Medical Decisions and Patient Responsibility
China Medical Navigation may provide information, coordination, and access support, but final medical decisions remain with the patient in consultation with appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.
Patients are responsible for deciding whether to:
- Rely on or seek further review of a second opinion;
- Travel to China for medical care;
- Select a particular hospital;
- Select a particular doctor;
- Proceed with a treatment;
- Accept surgery, medication, or another medical intervention.
Patients should discuss significant medical decisions with qualified healthcare professionals.
Information and coordination provided by China Medical Navigation should not be used as the sole substitute for professional medical judgment.
12. No Guarantee of Medical Outcomes
All medical care involves risks and uncertainty.
China Medical Navigation does not guarantee that:
- A patient will be accepted by a particular hospital;
- A patient will be able to see a particular doctor;
- A patient will qualify for a particular treatment;
- A particular medication or treatment will be medically appropriate;
- A particular treatment can be performed;
- A treatment will be successful;
- A patient will achieve a particular medical outcome or recovery.
Treatment results depend on the patient’s condition, overall health, previous treatment, actual treatment plan, and many other clinical factors.
Any judgment regarding effectiveness, risks, prognosis, or expected medical outcomes must be made by the relevant doctors and medical institutions.
13. Travel, Visa, and Entry Requirements
If you plan to travel to China for medical care, you are responsible for ensuring that you meet applicable travel and entry requirements.
These may include:
- A valid passport;
- Visa requirements;
- Entry requirements;
- Health documentation;
- Travel insurance;
- Other required documents.
China Medical Navigation may provide information or coordination support within the scope of the service, but we do not guarantee:
- Approval of any visa;
- Admission into China;
- The operation of any flight;
- Approval by immigration, border, or other governmental authorities.
Visa, airline, hotel, transportation, and insurance services are provided independently by the relevant third-party providers.
14. Third-Party Services
During the course of receiving cross-border medical services, you may use services provided by third parties, including:
- Hospitals;
- Doctors;
- Healthcare institutions;
- Payment platforms;
- Banks;
- Video conferencing providers;
- Translation providers;
- Hotels;
- Airlines;
- Transportation providers;
- Insurance companies;
- Other third parties.
These third parties are independently responsible for the products and services they provide.
China Medical Navigation may help coordinate such services where appropriate, but we do not control all aspects of third-party operations, clinical care, service quality, policies, or decisions.
Except where applicable law provides otherwise, China Medical Navigation should not be understood as assuming direct or unlimited responsibility for all acts or services of independent third parties.
15. Acceptable Use of the Website

You may not:
- Use the website for unlawful activities;

If we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, we may take appropriate steps to protect the website, our users, and our legitimate interests.
16. Intellectual Property
Except for materials lawfully owned by users or third parties, content associated with the China Medical Navigation website and services may be protected by intellectual property laws, including:
- The China Medical Navigation name and brand;
- Logos;
- Website design;
- Page layouts;
- Written content;

A Treatment Opportunity Review, Second Opinion document, or other service deliverable that you purchase or receive may be used for the personal medical decision-making and healthcare communication of the relevant patient.
Such materials may not be commercially resold or used for unauthorized commercial purposes.
17. Content and Information Submitted by Users
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your medical records, documents, and other materials.
To provide the services you request, you authorize China Medical Navigation, to the extent reasonably necessary, to:
- Receive;
- Store;
- Organize;
- Format;
- Translate;
- Summarize;
- Copy;
- Provide relevant materials to hospitals or doctors;
- Provide relevant materials to necessary service providers;
- Otherwise process the information in a manner reasonably necessary to provide the service.
This authorization is limited to providing the services you request, carrying out related medical coordination, complying with legal obligations, and other purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit the relevant materials and to authorize us to process them as described above.
18. Privacy
China Medical Navigation processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please review our Privacy Policy before using this website or our services.
If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding the processing of personal information, the relevant provision should be interpreted according to the specific circumstances and applicable law.
19. Suspension or Refusal of Service
China Medical Navigation may refuse, suspend, or terminate some or all services where reasonably appropriate.
Examples may include situations where:
- A user provides materially false or fraudulent information;
- A user submits unlawful materials or information they are not authorized to provide;
- Required payment has not been completed;
- A user seriously abuses, threatens, harasses, or intimidates staff, doctors, or other service participants;
- A user makes unlawful or clearly unreasonable requests;
- A user uses the service for fraud or another unlawful purpose;
- Continuing the service presents a significant safety risk to a patient, third party, or staff member;
- We are no longer reasonably able to provide the service;
- Other circumstances require reasonable action to protect users, third parties, or the legitimate interests of China Medical Navigation.
If a paid service is suspended or terminated, any refund or partial refund will be considered based on the portion of the service already completed, third-party costs already incurred, the circumstances leading to suspension or termination, and applicable law.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, China Medical Navigation is not responsible for losses that arise from medical decisions, medical care, or third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.
This may include losses directly or indirectly related to:
- Clinical decisions made by hospitals or doctors;
- Medical treatment outcomes;
- Interruptions in third-party services;
- Changes in hospital policies;
- Changes in doctor availability;
- Unavailability of medications or treatments;
- Flight delays or cancellations;
- Visa or immigration decisions;
- Failures of third-party payment services;
- Materially inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the user;
- Other circumstances caused by third parties or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where applicable law requires China Medical Navigation to be responsible for a particular loss, the extent of that responsibility will be determined based on the specific facts, the services actually provided, and applicable law.

- Unlawful use of the website or services;
- Submission of personal or medical information they are not authorized to provide;
- Infringement of third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights;
- Fraudulent conduct;
- Knowing submission of materially false information;

This provision does not require a user to assume responsibility that cannot legally be imposed on them.

Such events may include:
- Natural disasters;

Where such an event occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to restore services, adjust arrangements, or discuss alternative solutions with affected users.
23. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms will be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If a dispute arises in connection with these Terms, this website, or services provided by China Medical Navigation, the parties should first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith discussions.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through discussion, it may be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction.
Where applicable consumer protection, healthcare, or other mandatory laws provide users with greater protection, those mandatory legal protections will continue to apply.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as our services, products, technology, business relationships, or legal requirements change.
The updated version will be posted on this website and will identify the date of the latest update.
Where an updated version materially affects the core rights or obligations associated with a service that has already been purchased, we will address the change in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the relevant service.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or excluded only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
26. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable:
- Service page;
- Order confirmation;
- Quotation;
- Refund policy;
- Privacy Policy;
- Medical Disclaimer;
- Other written confirmation of the specific service agreed between you and China Medical Navigation;
